Deadline: 1 August 2012
Do you have a story to tell about the LGBTQ community? Hilarious or intense? Long or short? Written in essay form or composed of paint samples from Home Depot? Whatever it is, we want to see it. Remember, you don’t have to identify as queer to contribute to the magazine. Artists of all sexualities are welcome!
We are currently accepting submissions for our Fall 2012 issue. The theme is “Going Back.” Essays, poems, short stories, and artwork. You can take whatever artistic freedom you’d like. The only regulations: 1) the piece needs to be based on a queer experience, 2) fit the theme, and 3) be true (or true-ish). Please keep writing at 5,000 words or less, and let us know what city you’re writing from.
