Call for Submissions from Hispanic Authors: Aignos Publishing

Post date: Sunday, July 15, 2012
Aignos Publishing is an independent, bi-lingual royalty-based publisher based in Honolulu, Hawaii. We specialize in experimental and inventive fiction and nonfiction works. Aignos was started by a group of artists who saw an opportunity to represent the sort of literature we have always loved. We seek bold, boundary pushing works from today's most exciting authors.

The founders of Aignos wish to make our house one of the most author-centric publishing houses in the world. We seek to create an experience where the author's vision is the center of our editorial process. We seek to enhance the author's voice and style, not alter it, not hinder it or suppress it. Without a singular voice, literature is nothing more than a mass of anonymous papers. That is our philosophy, to aide the author in making the best, most powerful book possible, and in doing so we can give a voice to the voiceless, and publish literature that reaches for greatness, rather than settling for pleasant mediocrity.

Aignos Publishing is looking for Hispanic authors of experimental fiction and nonfiction, plays and poetry. Submission guidelines are:

1) Work must be complete.

2) For a book, send first three chapters or short stories if it is a collection; for a play, send first three scenes; for a book of poetry, send first five poems to
